MARBLE HILL -- Eula Poe, 88, of Marble Hill, died Monday, Dec. 11, 1995, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.
She was born July 19, 1907, at Puxico, daughter of William and Mary Francis Stevens Scott. She and V.E. Poe were married May 26, 1928. He died April 18, 1964.
Poe was a member of Lutesville United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include a son, Robert Poe of Burfordville; five daughters, Mable Brannam of St. Louis, Maxine Elders and Glenda Potter of Mt. Vernon, Ind., Sue Wallman of Pocahontas, Francis Beal of Marble Hill; a sister, Willa Hardy of West Salem; 32 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a son, two daughters and a sister.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery near Scopus.
