SIKESTON, Mo. -- Eula Mae Hill, 95, of Sikeston died Thursday, June 24, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born July 12, 1908, in Guntown, Miss., daughter of Will and Roxie Clark Hardges. She and Otis Hill were married Dec. 22, 1932. He preceded her in death.
Hill was formerly co-owner of Hill's Grocery Store. She was a member of West End Missionary Baptist Church and had served on the usher and mothers boards.
Survivors include a daughter, Thelma Tanksley of Sikeston; a brother, Al Garrett of New Madrid, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at West End Church Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of service.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Otis Hawes Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Smith-West End Cemetery.
Williams Funeral Home in Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
