Eula Naomi Brown, 86, of Millersville passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016, at the Monticello House in Jackson.
She was born May 31, 1930, in Greenbrier, Missouri, to Audie and Pearl Borders Camren. She and Russell D. "Dean" Brown were married Sept, 7, 1947, in Painton, Missouri. They had been married nearly 57 years when Dean passed away Sept. 1, 2004.
Eula attended grade school in rural Advance, Missouri. She was a 1947 graduate of Advance High School. She and Dean settled in Millersville shortly after their marriage and were active members of First Baptist Church in Millersville.
Eula worked 25 years at LeeRowan in Jackson, retiring in 1992. She was also an accomplished seamstress, often sewing garments for people.
Loving survivors include two children, Kathy (Jim) Criddle of Millersville and Andy (Debra) Brown of Millersville; a son-in-law, Larry (the late Vickie) McCann of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Jimmy D. Criddle of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jeff (Annie) Criddle of Millersville, Mollie (Justin) Hudson and Luke McCann of Nashville, Tennessee, Niki (Jeff) Laubach and Kevin (Jessica) Mier of Scott City, Julie (Jamey) Heisserer of Kelso, Missouri, Katie (Doug) Overbey and Caroline Brown; three great-granddaughters, Kyra, Arwen and Jovie; 10 great-grandsons, Cole, Jacob, Robbie, Sam, Aiden, Kolin, Derek, Lane, Mattox and Camren; a brother, Herbert Camren of Granite City, Illinois; and a sister-in-law, Bertie Lou (the late Hubert) Camren of Advance.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie McCann in 2014; a sister, Lucille Scott; and five brothers, Hubert, Hurshel, J.T., Harold and William Camren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Nathan Eikenberry officiating. Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to First Baptist Church in Millersville.
