FARRAR, Mo. -- Eugenia Lorenz, 89, of Farrar died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville, Mo. She was born Aug. 25, 1911, at Frohna, Mo., daughter of Otto and Magdelina Mueller Burroughs. She and Herbert Lorenz were married Nov. 19, 1933. He died Dec. 2, 1997...

FARRAR, Mo. -- Eugenia Lorenz, 89, of Farrar died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville, Mo.

She was born Aug. 25, 1911, at Frohna, Mo., daughter of Otto and Magdelina Mueller Burroughs. She and Herbert Lorenz were married Nov. 19, 1933. He died Dec. 2, 1997.

Lorenz was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid and Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

Survivors include two daughters, Ruby Steffens and Nancy Mantz of Farrar; three sons, Earl and Cheryl Lorenz of Farrar, Verlin Lorenz of Steeleville, Ill.; two sisters, Mildred Miesner of Frohna, Alice Palisch of Lakewood, Colo.; a brother, Marvin Burroughs of Frohna; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-9 a.m.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Salem Church, with the Rev. Robert Schneider officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
