MILLERSVILLE, Mo. -- Ethel M. Schreiner, 91, of Millersville died Monday, Oct. 15, 2001, at her home.
She was born June 9, 1910, in Bollinger County, daughter of William and Alice Nations Nanney. She and George E. Schreiner were married July 18, 1926, at Marble Hill, Mo. He died Feb. 10, 1989.
Schreiner was employed many years at the former Tommy's Poultry Processing Plant in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Haynes Chapel Congregational Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, David Schreiner of Manteno, Ill.; four daughters, Imogene Brooks of Fruitland, Mo., Mary Long of St. Louis, Marie Newell of Webster Groves, Mo., Karen Bowers of Millersville; six brothers, John, Lee, Melvin, Alfred and Bobby Nanney, all of Marble Hill, Cecil Nanney of Advance, Mo.; five sisters, Stella Carman and Louise Smith of St. Louis, Nancy Dockins, Thelma Nanney and Velma Cook, all of Marble Hill; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three children and three brothers.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today, and Wednesday after 10 a.m. at Haynes Chapel. The Rev. Donald Sander will officiate. Burial will be in Hahn's Chapel Cemetery near Marble Hill.
