ETHEL M.J. DIXON

GLEN ALLEN -- Ethel M.J. Dixon, 82, of rural Glen Allen died Monday, Dec. 23, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 28, 1909, in Bollinger County, the daughter of Daniel Forrest and Emily Caroline Zimmerman Bollinger. On July 20, 1928, she married Robert Dixon, who preceded her in death Sept. 5, 1990.

She and her husband farmed in the Castor River area for many years. She was a member of the Cold Water United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star of Greenville.

Survivors include a son, Robert Dixon of Glen Allen; two daughters, Kathleen Yandell of Steele and Betty Jo McClelland of Richmond Heights; a brother, George Bollinger of Ladue; and eight grandchildren.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Baker Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, where funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Jim Sanderson will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
