Ethel Marie Bollinger Ratledge, 83, 1102 S. Sprigg, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Jan. 17, 1909, at Scopus, daughter of Thomas and Anna Craig Brown. She married Earl Bollinger Dec. 20, 1926, in Bollinger County. He died March 15, 1984. She later married Marvin Ratledge June 7, 1986, at Benton.
Ratledge worked at Florsheim Shoe Co. more than 40 years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, VFW Auxiliary, and Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include her husband of Benton; three sons, Bill Bollinger of Caseville, Mich., Richard Bollinger of Warrenton, Ronald Bollinger of Apple Valley, Minn.; a daughter, Betty Clements of Granite City, Ill.; a sister, Ida Stromatt of Cape Girardeau; 10 stepchildren; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Revs. Ernest Swartz and Dale Huff will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
