BELL CITY -- Ethel Mae Back, 80, of Bell City, died Monday, Sept. 9, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Jan. 10, 1911, at Buchanan, daughter of Jason and Florence Myers Hedrick. She married Jim Back March 28, 1935. He died June 17, 1983...

BELL CITY -- Ethel Mae Back, 80, of Bell City, died Monday, Sept. 9, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Jan. 10, 1911, at Buchanan, daughter of Jason and Florence Myers Hedrick. She married Jim Back March 28, 1935. He died June 17, 1983.

Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Hess of Bell City; two sisters, Mary Brashear and Emma Owens of Advance; two grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dan Sitzes will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 6-9 p.m. today.
