MILLERSVILLE -- Funeral service for Mrs. Ethel Felty of Millersville will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Patrick Tankersley will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Mrs. Felty, 84 years old, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 1991, at the Monticello House in Jackson.
She was born April 30, 1906, in Marble Hill, daughter of E.N. and Sarah Stevens Barks. She married Alt Felty Feb. 6, 1932, who died Oct. 19, 1982.
Mrs. Felty graduated from Will Mayfield College at Marble Hill. The couple lived on a farm near Burfordville all of their married life. She was a member of Burfordville Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Hanselmann and Jettie Petzoldt of Jackson, Loretta French of Millersville; two brothers, Wendell Barks of Jackson, Basil Barks of Advance; two sisters, Mae McMullin of Marble Hill, Ola Schreiner of Jackson; nine grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
