Graveside service for Ethel Etta Chrismer of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. today at Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fairview Heights, Ill. The Rev. Ron Martz will officiate.
Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Chrismer, 78, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born May 31, 1918, in Wolf Lake, Ill., daughter of William A. and Bertha M. Spiller Harris. She married Harry W. Chrismer in 1952 in St. Louis.
Chrismer was a chief teletype operator with TWA 33 years. She moved to Cape Girardeau eight years ago from Belleville, Ill.
Survivors include her husband; two brothers, Earl Harris of Lincoln, Ill., Wayne Harris of Wolf Lake; four sisters, Elsie Belcher of Wolf Lake, Dorothy Hileman and Helen Dodd of Jonesboro, Ill., and Nola Wenger of Normal, Ill.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
