Ethel P. Anderson, 96, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Ethel was born Aug. 9, 1915, in Crump to the late Kirby and Ida Mae Williams Crump. She married Paul Jamerson on Oct. 17, 1946, and he preceded her in death Sept. 4, 1962. She then married Charley "Lee" Anderson on June 22, 1968, and he preceded her in death Nov. 10, 1996.
She worked as a supervisor for 39 years at Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee, Mo., before retiring. Ethel was a member of The First Baptist Church in Chaffee and the Ladies Auxillary Gideon International.
Survivors include a brother, Harrell Crump of Chaffee; two sisters, Dorothy Nobles of Scott City and Coletta Hahn of Chaffee; four stepgrandchildren; and seven step-greatgrandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers; three sisters; and two stepsons.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. at the church, with the Rev. Matt Butrum officiating.
Burial will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church in Chaffee.
