ESTHER SCHUPPAN

Esther A. Schuppan, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 1997, at Fountainbleau Lodge. She was born Aug. 23, 1905, at Egypt Mills, daughter of Herman and Ida Mueller Schuppan. Schuppan lived in St. Louis where she did domestic work and was a nurse's aide. She moved to Altenburg in 1963, and then to Cape Girardeau in 1986. Esther A. Schuppan, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 1997, at Fountainbleau Lodge.

She was born Aug. 23, 1905, at Egypt Mills, daughter of Herman and Ida Mueller Schuppan.

Schuppan lived in St. Louis where she did domestic work and was a nurse's aide. She moved to Altenburg in 1963, and then to Cape Girardeau in 1986. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at New Wells.

Survivors include a brother, Werner Schuppan of St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Walter Patzwitz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
