ESTHER POWERS

PERRYVILLE -- Esther M. Powers, 73, of Perryville died Thursday, Feb. 26, 1998, at her home.

She was born June 11, 1924, in Centralia, W.Va., daughter of Edrick and Eva Keller Goad. She and Robert L. Powers were married Nov. 6, 1941, in Braxton County, W.Va. He died Jan. 9, 1975.

Powers was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include two daughters, Jacqueline Unterreiner of Perryville, Margaret Seller of Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, Everett Goad of Richwood, W.Va.; two sisters, Edna Frame of Brunswick, Ga., Ella Lofquist of Manchester, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
