ESTHER LANCASTER

Funeral Mass for Esther Lancaster of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Msgr. Richard Rolwing will officiate, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Lancaster, 85, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 1997, at Heartland Care Rehab Center.

She was born Feb. 28, 1912, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Leo and Julia Blechle Geringer. She and John Lancaster were married Sept. 23, 1966. He died March 3, 1969.

Lancaster had worked in the cafeteria at Southeast Missouri State University. She was a member of St. Mary's Church.

Survivors include a sister, Irene Eaker of Cape Girardeau.
