Esther May King, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Nov. 12, 1998, at Heartland Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Jan. 12, 1908, in St. Louis, daughter of William Theodore and Martha Jane Gillham Eddins. She married Austin King in September 1930...
Esther May King, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Nov. 12, 1998, at Heartland Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Jan. 12, 1908, in St. Louis, daughter of William Theodore and Martha Jane Gillham Eddins. She married Austin King in September 1930.
King was a telegrapher several years at Western Union in St. Louis. She moved to Cape Girardeau 12 years ago from St. Louis.

Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Byrnes.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
There is no visitation.
A private service will be held Tuesday at Valhalla Cemetery in St. Louis.
