ESTHER HAGAN

PERRYVILLE -- Esther T. Hagan, 69, of Perryville, died Saturday, June 15, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 25, 1926, in Perry County, daughter of Henry and Emma Parres Klump. She and Lilburn "Shorty" Hagan were married Oct. 19, 1942. He died Oct. 15, 1971.

Hagan was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, American Legion Auxiliary Post 133, Perryville Country Club, and volunteer at Perry County Hospital.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Hagan of St. Louis, David Hagan of Perryville; five daughters, Pat McLain of Hutchinson, Kan., Naomi Zavislak of Seattle, Wash., Sue Busse of St. Louis, Elizabeth Konarske of Detroit, Mich., Mary Crites of Forest, Va.; a brother, Amos Klump of Bella Vista, Ark., and 20 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-9:45 a.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
