CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for Estel C. Horrell, 1053 N. Clark, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Church. The Revs. Art Basler and Oscar Lukefahr will officiate, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel after 1 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Horrell, 56 years old, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 1991, at his home.
He was born Sept. 4, 1934, at Glennon, son of Christopher and Bertha Elfrink Horrell. He and the former Mary Dean Klipfel were married Oct. 5, 1957, at New Hamburg. She died Nov. 18, 1979.
Horrell moved to Cape in 1957 from Glennon. He had worked at International Shoe Co. Clark Feed Store, Walther's Furniture and Funeral Home, Cape Ready Mix and Notre Dame High School.
He was currently a carpenter with Bob Strack Construction, and member of St. Vincent's Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Clouse of Cape, Shari Horrell of Carbondale, Ill.; his mother of Glennon; three brothers, Larry Horrell of Chaffee, Harley and Harold Horrell of Glennon; a sister, Betty DeBrock of Cape, and two grandchildren, Dustin and Amanda Clouse of Cape.
