Graveside service for Essie Shaul of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Memorial Park Gazebo. The Rev. Brendan Dempsey will officiate.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 10-10:45 a.m. Friday.
Shaul, 85, died Monday, March 2, 1998, at Chateau Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 11, 1912, at Dexter, daughter of James R. and Julia A. Wood Howell. She and Harold L. Shaul were married March 28, 1937, in Cape Girardeau. He died July 12, 1964.
The Shauls owned and operated Shaul Manufacturing many years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Cape Girardeau Garden Club.
Survivors include a brother, James Howell of Marietta, Pa.; and a sister, Mary Young of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and two sisters.
