LUTESVILLE -- Funeral service for Mrs. Essie Mae Long of Lutesville will be held at 1 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Jake Welker will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Long, 66 years old, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 1990, at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Fredericktown.
She was born Sept. 26, 1924, at Scopus, daughter of Jess and Maudie Cook Pulliam. She married Earl Long Sept. 11, 1943.
Mrs. Long was a member of Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Larry (Bud) Long of Marquand, Jerry Long of Marble Hill, Freddie Long of Lutesville; two daughters, Diana Sitzes and Darlene Jordan of Lutesville; four brothers, Les and Don Estes of Fenton, J.D. and Shelby Estes of Lutesville; three sisters, L.B. Long, Helen Miller and Louella Lanigan of Lutesville; 19 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, brother and sister.
