SCOTT CITY -- Ervin John Glaus, 83, died Oct. 20, 1994, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 27, 1911, in New Hamburg, the son of George and Theresia Schlosser Glaus. He and Ollie Mae Crader were married June 24, 1933, in Jackson.
He was a truck driver for Lonestar Industries and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jim Glaus of Scott City and Ron Glaus of Kelso; two daughters, Georgia Schaefer and Patricia Essner of Scott City; two sisters, Ermina Glasscock of Oran and Margaret Craig of Redmond, Ore.; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and one grandchild.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where parish prayers will be conducted at 7 p.m.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Pat Wissman will officiate with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
