SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Ernest Carl Ingemanson of Scott City was held Thursday at Eisleben Lutheran Church. The Rev. Joel Sarrault officiated, with burial in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City was in charge of arrangements.
Ingemanson, 76, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 30, 1920, at Lynn, Mass., son of Carl R. and Alice Fromburg Ingemanson. He and Dorothy Krieger were married April 4, 1945, at Scott City.
Ingemanson was a data processor at NCR in Boston, Mass., and then at Wetterau in Scott City. He had lived in Scott City 31 years, and was a member of Eisleben Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jan Ingemanson of Atlanta, Ga., Martin Ingemanson of Richmond, Ind.; a sister, Elva Wilson of Norfolk, Va.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, sister and stepmother.
