ALTO PASS, Ill. -- Ernest D. "Wayne" Hubbs, 44, of Alto Pass, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 1996, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born Dec. 22, 1951, at Anna, son of William E. and Dorothy Clutts Hubbs. He and Donna Diane Harris were married July 25, 1970, in Alto Pass.

Hubbs was a food supervisor at Vienna Correctional Center. He was a member of Anna Heights Baptist Church and attended the Congregational Church in Alto Pass.

Survivors include his wife; a son, David Hubbs of Carbondale; his parents of Anna; two brothers, Ron and Billy Hubbs of Anna.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Alto Pass from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gilbert Gee officiating. Burial will be in Alto Pass Cemetery.
