SCOTT CITY -- Ernest E. "Bud" Stevens Sr., 69, of Scott City, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 17, 1923, in Providence, Ky. He first married Georgia Stidham, and later married Willa Dean James.

Stevens worked at Florsheim Shoe Co., and was custodian at Nell Holcomb School 13 years.

Survivors include a son, Ernest Stevens Jr. of Scott City, and a granddaughter.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Revs. Diana Cook and Gary Culbreth will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
