PARMA -- Ernest Carroll Campbell, 51, of Bernie, died Wednesday, May 24, 1995, at Ridgeview Nursing Center in Malden. He was born Feb. 3, 1944, near Parma, son of Taylor and Kathy Lamb Campbell. PARMA -- Ernest Carroll Campbell, 51, of Bernie, died Wednesday, May 24, 1995, at Ridgeview Nursing Center in Malden.

He was born Feb. 3, 1944, near Parma, son of Taylor and Kathy Lamb Campbell.

Campbell moved to Bernie from St. Louis four years ago. He was manager of a service station, and member of Parma General Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy and Matthew Campbell of St. Louis; a daughter, Becky Campbell of St. Louis; three brothers, Daniel Campbell of Oklahoma, Vernon and Harold Campbell of St. Louis, and a sister, Bea Parkman of Bernie.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Parma Cemetery, with the Rev. Betty Weathers officiating.

Watkins and Sons Funeral Home at Parma is in charge of arrangements.
