Ermalene Jenkins, 53, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Aug. 22, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Robert and Amanda Payne Lucky.
Jenkins had been a medical technician at Heartland Care Rehab Center and at the Lutheran Home. She was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include four brothers, Chris, Terry and Robert Payne of Cape Girardeau, J.C. Betts of Niles, Mich.; three sisters, Maybell Whitby of Brinkley, Ark., Doris Harris of St. Louis, Joyce Mitchell of Palo Alto, Calif.; and companion, Andrew Ruffin of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 11 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Johnny Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
