SIKESTON -- Ermadean Flippo Hurley, 73, of Sikeston died Thursday, Oct. 29, 1992 at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born March 27, 1919 in Clifton, Tenn., daughter of James William and Delphia Riley Flippo.

She worked for 25 years at International Shoe Company in Sikeston and was a member of Tanner Street Church of God.

Surviving are two sons, James W. Hurley and Larry Hurley, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, Maerene Parks, Morehouse, Doris Jean Cannon, Sikeston, Paula Gail Curry, St. Charles; one brother, Malcolm Flippo, Waynesboro, Tenn.; one half-brother, William Gifford, Possum Trot, Ky.; two sisters, Eddie Williams, Waynesboro, Mary E. Hays, Morehouse; one half-sister, Rothanell Lineberry, Waynesboro; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

One brother, one grandson and one great grandson preceded her in death.

Funeral service was held Saturday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston with the Rev. Carl Addison, pastor of Tanner Street Church of God, officiating.

Burial followed in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
