DALLAS -- Eric Jason Crow, 37, formerly of Cape Girardeau and Jackson, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Dallas on Friday, June 30, 2017.
Eric attended Cape Girardeau and Jackson public schools through his elementary years before moving to Jackson, Mississippi, where he completed his education.
After high school, Eric, along with his parents, Bill and Carla Buehler Crow, both formerly of Cape Girardeau and Jackson, moved to the Dallas area. Eric became actively involved in the restaurant and hospitality industry in the area, recently serving as restaurant manager at the iconic Gilley's of Dallas.
Eric's continual smile, quick wit and engaging personality earned him many friends and served him well throughout his life. Those traits and his affection for those around him will be sorely missed.
Eric is survived by his parents; his grandparents, John and Judy Buehler of Oak Ridge; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles and a circle of friends, all of whom will miss him greatly.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maxine Crow of Cape Girardeau.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests well-wishers make a donation to their local animal shelter in Eric's honor.
