JACKSON -- Funeral for Ennis N. Smith of Jackson will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Patterson Methodist Church in Patterson. The Rev. Grant Gillard will officiate. Burial will be in Patterson Cemetery.

Smith, 88, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 6, 1911, at Centerville. She and Veatile T. Smith were married May 15, 1932. He preceded her in death.

Smith was formerly of Patterson, and a member of Patterson Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Mathews of Jackson, Alice Noland of St. Louis; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
