Emma Morgan

FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- Emma Louise Morgan, 94, of Fredericktown died Thursday, June 30, 2011, in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 12, 1916, in Fredericktown, daughter of Walter H. and Margaret E. Jones. She and Charles C. Morgan were married Oct. 21, 1948, in Fredericktown.

Morgan was a member of St. Michael's Church.

Survivors include two sons, Tim (Barb) Morgan of Cape Girardeau, Phil (Pat) Morgan of New Haven, Mo.; two daughters, Mary (Robert) Brotherton of Cape Girardeau, Geralyn (Bob) Cash of Bonne Terre, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.

The funeral was Tuesday at St. Michael's Church, with the Rev. Mitch Wilk officiating. Burial was in St. Michael's Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tim Morgan, Philip and Christopher Brotherton, Brett Hoch, Mark Rehkop and Raun Oberman.

Follis and Sons Funeral Home in Fredericktown was in charge of arrangements.
