MOUNDS, Ill. -- Emma Gadish Love, 88, of Mounds died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1999, at the Daystar Care Center at Cairo.
She was born Oct. 8, 1911, in Lyon County, Ky., daughter of William and Maggie Mae Haney Gadish.
She was a homemaker and attended the Living Hope Church at Grand Chain.
Survivors include a son, Jesse Turner Jr. of Jacksonville; a daughter, Mary Lou Flannigan of Marion; a grandson whom she raised, Jerry Kurtz of Mounds; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Love, on May 23, 1992.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Jones Funeral Home at Villa Ridge.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Kevin Badgley will officiate, with burial to follow at the National Cemetery at Mound City.
