Emma Jean Sides, 72, 1403 Bessie, died Sunday, April 24, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Nov. 21, 1921, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Raymond B. and Opal Wilkinson Harris. She and J.O. Sides were married Feb. 4, 1939, in Cape Girardeau.
Sides was a clerk in the catalog department at Montgomery Ward for 25 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and its Esther Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Jim Sides of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Donna Price of Cape Girardeau, Vicki Clarke of Louisville, Ky., Mary Wyatt of Greensboro, N.C.; nine grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. John Owens officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
