ORAN, Mo. -- Emma Guzman, 64, of Oran died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at her home.
She was born March 23, 1939, in Nixon, Texas, daughter of Vidal and Susie Valdez Sauceda. She and Arnold Guzman were married July 27, 1956.
Guzman moved to Oran 52 years ago from Texas.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, J. David Guzman of Los Angeles, Calif., A. Anthony Guzman of Bell City, Mo.; a daughter, Linda Graviett of Bloomfield, Mo.; five brothers, Eliso, Alex and John Sauceda of Oran, Raymond Sauceda of Sikeston, Mo., Vidal Sauceda Jr. of Bell City; seven sisters, Josephine Moreno of Nixon, Josie Turner and Sandra Turner of Oran, Betty Guzman of Morley, Mo., Dora Graham of Sikeston, Mary Brown and Lupe Freeze of Holly Springs, Miss.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons and three brothers.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 4 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Harth officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
