DEXTER -- Emma E. Stallion, 79, of Dexter died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, at the Beverly Health Rehabilitation Center in Dexter.
She was born on July 23, 1920, at Dexter, daughter of Robert and Cora Lee DeArman Garner. She and Forrest W. Stallion were married June 26, 1947, in Lucas County, Ohio. He died on Sept. 28, 1959.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Dexter and a member of the Ladies Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sons, Paul Garner and Darrell Stallion, both of Dexter, and Micheal Stallion of Gordonville; three brothers, Robert D. Garner and Loyd V. Garner, both of Dexter, and Marvin A. Garner of Greenville, Ill.; three sisters, Norma Grubbs and Maxine Gillis, both of Dexter, and Myrl Cook of St. Louis; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers.
Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Chapel in Dexter.
Funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Jim Faughn will officiate, with burial to follow in Caroline-Dowdy Cemetery near Dexter.
