JACKSON -- Emma "Dot" Farrow, age 73, died Friday, Dec. 10, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 26, 1926, in Advance, Mo., the daughter of the late Frank and Ivy Sitze Sparkman. On Sept. 5, 1944, she married Nelson C. Farrow. He survives.
Other survivors include one son, Steven Farrow of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Barbara Jennings and Linda Farrow, both of Jackson, and Mary Dix of Sarasota, Fla.; a brother, Bloyce Sparkman; four grandchildren, Greg Jennings and Roy Jennings, both of Jackson, and Tracy McCain and Brandi Farrow, both of Cape Girardeau; and two great-grandchildren, Morgan McCain of Cape Girardeau and Tyler Jennings of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria Farrow Rahkopf, and a brother, Everett Sparkman.
Mrs. Farrow worked for Tipton's Laundry as a presser for 36 years.
Friends may call at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson today, Dec. 12, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at McCombs, followed by interment at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson. The Rev. Vyron Yount will officiate.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the First General Baptist Church in Jackson.
