PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Emma J. Bergman, 94, formerly of Perryville, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, in Merced, Calif. She was born Nov. 6, 1906, in Cleveland, Mo., daughter of Otto and Sattie Masterson Voigt. She and LeRoy M. Bergman were married May 16, 1925. He died Dec. 28, 1972...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Emma J. Bergman, 94, formerly of Perryville, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, in Merced, Calif.

She was born Nov. 6, 1906, in Cleveland, Mo., daughter of Otto and Sattie Masterson Voigt. She and LeRoy M. Bergman were married May 16, 1925. He died Dec. 28, 1972.

Bergman was a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, Peace Lutheran in Friedenburg, Mo., and Ladies Aid.

Survivors include a son, Donald Bergman of Merced; a daughter, Dolores Koenig of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday after 6:30 a.m.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Matthew Marks will officiate. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery at Friedenburg.
