EMMA ARMSTRONG

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Emma Armstrong, 101, of Naperville, died Monday, July 20, 1992, at Edward Hospital in Naperville.

She was born July 10, 1891, in Mounds, daughter of John and Mary Spangler Pletscher. She married Leonard Armstrong, who died in 1960.

Armstrong was a member of Congregational Church in Mounds.

Survivors include a son, John Armstrong of Naperville; a granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Tom Ellison will officiate, with burial in Beechwood Cemetery.
