Emily Tuttle

Emily L. Tuttle, 74, formerly of Fruitland, passed away Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at the Monticello House in Jackson, where she has resided the past eight years.

She was born March 21, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of William Martin and Lorene Evelyn Schulenberg Mabrey.

She graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School in 1961. Emily had her own cleaning service in Cape Girardeau for both residential and commercial customers for many years.

Loving survivors include her daughter, Tammy Jo (the late Steven) Schwab of Allen, Texas; her son, Bill (Susan) Tuttle of Cape Girardeau; her daughter, Ann (Jamie) Tendal of Estherville, Iowa; four grandchildren, Heather and Haley Jo Schwab of Allen and Allie and Holben Tendal of Esthersville; two great-grandchildren, Ricky and Kherington Jo Robins; and one sister, Sharon Mabrey of Palm Desert, California.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Wayne Mabrey.

A private funeral service will be conducted.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
