Emil F.T. Strack, 93, of Lebanon, Ill., died Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese, Ill.
He was born Aug. 28, 1908, in Cape Girardeau, son of Anton and Annie K. Lowes Strack. He and Emma M. Knoebel were married Aug. 9, 1953, in Belleville, Ill.
Strack was a farmer. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Lebanon and the National Farmers Organization.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Lee and Larry Strack of Lebanon; two daughters, Betty Strack of Chicago and Ruth Hunze of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Old Hanover Lutheran Church after 9 a.m. Saturday.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Revs. Garry McCracken and Jeff Sippy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with full military honors by the Delta Team.
Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
