JACKSON -- Emil H. Loos, 75, of Jackson, died Monday, Aug. 10, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born May 10, 1917, near Jackson, son of Fred and Lillie Day Loos. He and Sybil Brown were married May 11, 1937. Loos was employed 30 years at International Shoe Co. here, retiring in 1979. He had been a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church since 1931...

JACKSON -- Emil H. Loos, 75, of Jackson, died Monday, Aug. 10, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born May 10, 1917, near Jackson, son of Fred and Lillie Day Loos. He and Sybil Brown were married May 11, 1937.

Loos was employed 30 years at International Shoe Co. here, retiring in 1979. He had been a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church since 1931.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Lynn Loos of Kansas City, Ryland Loos of Albany, N.Y.; a brother, Marvin Loos of Phoenix, Ariz.; four sisters, Agnes Borgfield of Cape Girardeau, Alma Proffer, Georgia Meyer and Francis Simpson of Jackson; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Lawrence Eatherton will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
