SIKESTON, Mo. -- Thomas Elzie Franklin Boardman, 94, died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 11, 1907, in Princeton, Ind., son of Mr. and Mrs. John Lewis Boardman. He and Thelma Colley were married April 30, 1927, in Charleston. She died Nov. 15, 1981.
Boardman worked at International Shoe Co. 49 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Rita Baker of Sikeston; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Barnhart officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
