JACKSON -- Elzenia Schenimann, 89, of Route 4 Jackson died Sunday, March 21, 1993, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 12, 1903, at Iona, the daughter of James D. and Alice Davenport Reynolds. On May 2, 1926, she married Henry Schenimann, who preceded her in death Aug. 18, 1984.
She worked for 12 years at the former Lowenbaum Dress Factory in Cape Girardeau, retiring in 1965. She was a charter member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Fruitland and was a member of the United Methodist Women's Society. She also was a member of the Live and Learn Extension Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Haselbauer of Route 4 Jackson and Vera Joyce Bruss of Barnhart; a sister, Myrl Randol of Fruitland; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by six brothers, a sister and a grandson.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, where funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. David Conley will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
