ELWOOD BUCKMAN

UNIONTOWN, Ky. -- Elwood Buckman, 85, of Uniontown, Ky., died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 18, 1914, son of Guy Manuel and Lissie Holland Buckman.

He was a member of Masonic Lodge 219 and Eastern Star Chapter 274 at Uniontown.

Survivors include his wife, Ona Buckman of Uniontown; a daughter, Ruth Ann Vanderpool of Henderson; a brother, William Buckman of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon and from 3-8 p.m. today and from noon until service time Tuesday at the Whitesell Funeral Home at Uniontown. Masonic service will be at 7 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Donald House will officiate, with burial to follow at Odd Fellow Cemetery at Morganfield.
