Elsie Marie Williams, 53, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Nov. 24, 2003, at the Lutheran Home. She was born May 2, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Lloyd and Annie May Temple Williams. Elsie Marie Williams, 53, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Nov. 24, 2003, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born May 2, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Lloyd and Annie May Temple Williams.

Williams was a 1968 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She was a claims clerk with Missouri Division of Employment Security. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, Council of Catholic Women and Eastern Star.

Survivors include a son, Craig Williams of St. Louis; three brothers, Lloyd Williams of Cape Girardeau, Paul Williams of Westbury, Conn., Joseph Williams of Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Gladys Young of Memphis, Tenn., Mary Lacey of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Parish prayers will be at 7 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. Scott Sunnenberg officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
