ANNA, Ill. -- Elsie Elizabeth Johnson, 88, of Anna died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1993, at her home.

She was born May 16, 1905, at Anna, the daughter of Charles and Minerva Hartman Hartline. On June 15, 1926, she married Dr. O.E. Johnson, who preceded her in death March 17, 1992.

She was a member of Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna for more than 72 years and also was a member of several social clubs and organizations in Anna.

Survivors include a son, Gerald H. Johnson of Cape Girardeau, three grandsons, and a great-grandson.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Christine Erdmann will officiate, and burial will be in the Anna Cemetery.
