ANNA, Ill. -- Elsie Mae Halterman, 91, of Anna died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000, at Jonesboro Healthcare Center. She was born Feb. 22, 1909, in Charleston, Mo., daughter of Frank and Gussie Forgey Lawrence. She and Fred A. "Freddie" Halterman were married in 1929, in Anna. He preceded her in death...

ANNA, Ill. -- Elsie Mae Halterman, 91, of Anna died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000, at Jonesboro Healthcare Center.

She was born Feb. 22, 1909, in Charleston, Mo., daughter of Frank and Gussie Forgey Lawrence. She and Fred A. "Freddie" Halterman were married in 1929, in Anna. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include a sister, Mildred Harvel of Tamms, Ill.; a grandson; and two great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and five brothers.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Ill., from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
