Elsie B. Grider, 65, of 525 S. Ellis, died Friday, March 27, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born on June 29, 1926 in Nottingham, England, daughter of John and Anna Grimbley. On July 15, 1945, she married Raymond Grider in Lester, England. He died on Oct. 28, 1991...

Elsie B. Grider, 65, of 525 S. Ellis, died Friday, March 27, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born on June 29, 1926 in Nottingham, England, daughter of John and Anna Grimbley.

On July 15, 1945, she married Raymond Grider in Lester, England. He died on Oct. 28, 1991.

Surviving are one son, Raymond L. Grider of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Anna Marie Sanders and Shirley Ramos, both of Cape Girardeau; and 10 grandchildren.

One son and one sister preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel with the Rev. S.S. Borum officiating. Burial will be in Mound City, Ill., National Cemetery.

Friends may call Tuesday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
