BLOOMFIELD -- Elsie Arzella Lively, 83, of Bloomfield, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 1994, at Sells Rest Home in Matthews. She was born Sept. 19, 1910, in Kewanee, daughter of Homer and Leona Widdows Henson. She and John James Lively were married July 6, 1940, at Matthews. He died Jan. 13, 1971...

BLOOMFIELD -- Elsie Arzella Lively, 83, of Bloomfield, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 1994, at Sells Rest Home in Matthews.

She was born Sept. 19, 1910, in Kewanee, daughter of Homer and Leona Widdows Henson. She and John James Lively were married July 6, 1940, at Matthews. He died Jan. 13, 1971.

Survivors include two sons, Jess Clayton of Imperial, James Lively of Lake Village, Ind.; a daughter, Dema Scott of Gary, Ind.; three sisters, Gladys Baker and Delpha Higdon of Sikeston, Nina Pennington of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Sikeston from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
