Eloise Finley Swoboda, 78, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, at her home.
She was born Jan. 26, 1944, to Zeno and Juanita Chancellor Finley in Cape Girardeau.
Eloise was a homemaker. She had great love for her family. Eloise especially enjoyed playing cards, bingo and talking on the phone.
Survivors include her children, George Swoboda of Cape Girardeau, Catherine Swoboda Foutch of Cape Girardeau, Deborah Swoboda Girdner of Cordova, Tennessee, Kevin Swoboda of Farmington, Missouri, Tonya Swoboda Kerber of Lima, Ohio, and Dana Swoboda Grace, Ronald Swoboda and Angela Swoboda, all of Cape Girardeau; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 12 siblings and three husbands.
A memorial service will be held at noon Friday, Dec. 9, at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Gary Brothers officiating.
A memorial gathering will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday, Dec. 9, at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Cape County Memorial Park at a later date.
Memorial contributions be made to the SEMO Area Agency on Aging, and envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
