JONESBORO, Ill. -- Elnora Winn, 91, of Plaquemine, La., died Monday, Jan. 4, 1999, at Riverwest Medical Center in Plaquemine.
She was born March 23, 1907, in Union County, daughter of John and Martha Carter Perkins. She and Ernest Winn were married Aug. 11, 1922, in Jonesboro. He died Aug. 13, 1982.
Winn had been a nurse aide. She was a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church, and former member of Jonesboro Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Vivian Rastl of Plaquemine; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today, and Friday at Jonesboro Pentecostal Church from noon until service time.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the church, with the Revs. Jim Suits and Herbert Wilson officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
