Elnora Myers, 71, of 1441 N. Main, died Monday, Aug. 31, 1992 at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born April 10, 1921 near Gordonville, the daughter of Robert and Ella Thompson Kinder. On Dec. 20, 1947, she married Lester Myers in Cape Girardeau. He survives...

Elnora Myers, 71, of 1441 N. Main, died Monday, Aug. 31, 1992 at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born April 10, 1921 near Gordonville, the daughter of Robert and Ella Thompson Kinder.

On Dec. 20, 1947, she married Lester Myers in Cape Girardeau. He survives.

She is also survived by one daughter, Linda Gill, Chaffee Route 2; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

She was Methodist, a lifelong resident of Cape Girardeau County and a housewife.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel with the Rev. John Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call today from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
